2 Most Beneficial Practices

I really liked the subtle mind practice and the visualization one...the meeting Asclepius. I could and should incorporate these in my life more frequently than just a an assignment for class. It's hard. It feel that if I take the minutes to meditate, that I'm taking that time away from being productive. I need to view it as being productive for myself and mental health though. It is definitely difficult to be stressed and high strung and then try to sit in a quiet room and control my thoughts and clear my mind. I need to try to do it though and I know with practice, it will get easier.

The subtle mind and Asclepius exercises helped me to clear my mind the most. To block out unwanted thoughts or mental chatter. The Asclepius exercise helped me focus on the things that really matter. I pictured my grandmother and it helped me to feel wiser and more focused. Sometimes the little things really get to me, mainly when they start to pile up into a big thing but this exercise really helped keep me grounded.

  1. Jess,

I also found that the visualization practices were very beneficial. When you visualize, you enter a state where anything goes. Visualization takes on images, sounds and imagination- anything can come to fruition and has the ability to affect a person emotionally and physically. Thus, visualization and techniques of visualization are such powerful tools for psychic ability. For a person to trust their intuition and see clearly what lies in store, they must be accepting of the images which form within their minds eye.

I wnat to say it has been a true pleasure to be in this space with you and I am grateful for the time we have shared. Best of everything in your journey through life.

  2. Jess, how do you plan on incorporating this more? It is so true that these exercises are beneficial. How will you make the time to incorporate this? Do you think these exercises can be beneficial in your future professional goals?

  3. Jess,
I agree with you-I feel like stopping to do a meditation takes away from being productive...but then I think about all the times I sit at my desk and am very unproductive or frustrated or something. That would be a good time to start a meditation.
